St. Jude's Primary Academy
Before partnering with EduKicks, St. Jude’s struggled with inconsistent PE delivery and low participation in after-school clubs, particularly among girls.
Over two years, our embedded coaches completely revitalised the school’s sports culture. By introducing a wider variety of sports and focusing on physical literacy rather than just competition, we saw extracurricular participation increase by 140%.
“The transformation in our pupils’ attitude towards physical activity has been remarkable. EduKicks hasn’t just improved their fitness, it’s improved their focus in the classroom.”
— Sarah Jenkins, Headteacher
- Corporate Sponsorship
Oaktree Financial
Oaktree wanted to direct their CSR budget towards initiatives that would make a tangible difference in their local community of East London, rather than national charities where their contribution felt diluted.
By sponsoring the ‘District Champion’ tier, they funded full-time EduKicks programmes in three under-resourced local schools. Our termly impact reports allowed Oaktree to track exactly how their investment was improving the wellbeing of over 800 local children.
“Sponsoring the EduKicks programme has been the most rewarding CSR initiative we’ve undertaken. The reporting makes the impact clear, and our staff love volunteering at the end-of-term sports days.”
— Marcus Thorne, CSR Director

Building Confidence
When 9-year-old Leo joined our lunchtime club, he was intensely shy and refused to participate in team games, preferring to sit on the sidelines.
Coach Dave recognised Leo needed a different approach. Over several weeks, Dave slowly integrated Leo through small-group, non-competitive skill games. As Leo’s physical competence grew, so did his confidence. By the end of the term, Leo was not only participating fully but was helping explain the games to younger students.
“I used to hate PE because I wasn’t fast like the others. Coach Dave showed me that sports are just about trying your best and having fun. Now football club is my favourite part of the week.”
— Leo, Year 5 Pupil
